Agnes Grimaud Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 3 to Feb. 5, 2018.
June 2, 1925 - January 30, 2018. Beautiful Agnes Grimaud (née Kelahear) re-joins her beloved Albert after a twenty-two year separation. Always smiling as if lit from within, we will miss her periwinkle eyes, quick humour, joie de vivre, the softness of her hands and her perpetual elegance. Mum's unceasing support, fortitude and kindness to all leave a powerful legacy. Survived by Andrea, Virginia, Elena (Martin Ineichen), Pamela, Patricia (Normand Brassard) and grandchildren Caroline and Nicholas. Mum and Dad, our gratitude is boundless, as is our love for you. "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return." A memorial mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 7 February at St. Monica's Parish in NDG. Contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Canada are greatly appreciated.

You left us a year ago today, mom, and I imagine you with dad, and surrounded by all your loved ones. I miss my courageous, funny, and always loving and supportive mom. You were beyond special and I was so blessed to have you for my mom and my friend. So many memories of you (and dad) to cherish. I think of you so often and love you so very much, as does Martin. Be happy, you two, and send us all some sunshine when you can. God bless you, and thank you so very much. Cookie xo

Mum and Dad, quite simply, I love and miss you to the moon and back. I'm so grateful that two kindest people I've ever known happen to be my parents. Thank-you, Albert and Agnes. Stay close. xo Pam

Dear Pam and family,

Margaret and I were sad to hear that your mom had died. Time passes so quickly, and our memories of your mom go back as far as Kindergarten at St. Francis Elementary and fun and games at Union Park..both of which seem like yesterday. We send our sympathies to you and all of your family.
