Agnes E. Wuorio

Agnes E. (Pugsley) Wuorio, 83, of Summer Hill Glen, Maynard, died Monday, March 1, 2010 at Life Care Center of Acton. She was born in Peabody, daughter of the late Wylie and Leah J. (Atkinson) Pugsley. She was the wife of Raymond E. Wuorio for 45 years at the time of his death in 1998. A graduate of the Hale High School, formerly in Stow, she later worked at the A&P Market and Bachrachs Market, both formerly in Maynard. She had also driven the Maynard Senior Citizen Van for a time. She leaves three daughters: Rae Eileen Holmes of Manchester, Conn., Sandra Dismuke of Maynard and Ellen Finkelsen of Merrimack, N.H.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Francis Pugsley of Worcester and Donald Pugsley of Hudson and two sisters: Marjorie Jacobs of Fairport, N.Y. and Dorothy Doyle of Hudson. She was predeceased by a brother Douglas Pugsley and three sisters: Muriel Rogers, Jean Otenti and Myrtle Datalebi. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 4 at 10 a.m. in the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord St., Maynard. Her son-in-law, Rev. Arnold Holmes, will officiate.
