Aime "Pete" Dallaire

Aime "Pete" Dallaire, 82, passed away on September 8, 2024, in Colchester, CT. Born on July 22, 1942, Pete was known for his dedication as a loving husband and family man. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife, Sandra Dallaire, Daughters Gigi, Marja, and Aimee Dallaire, and stepchildren Scott Paterson and Sara O'Connor. He was honored to be a grandfather to his three granddaughters, Cassidy, Emma, and Dacia. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret McCall and Aime J Dallaire, his sister Gail, and his brother Russell. He is also survived by his sisters, Pat LaFleur and Denise Ebert.

Professionally, Pete was the respected owner of Dallaire and Associates, a firm specializing in real estate appraisals, where he applied his sharp analytical skills and unwavering ethics.

Pete was an active member of the Christian Fellowship Church and lived a life full of various passions. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed long bike rides, and cherished the time spent walking and working with his horses. Notably, Pete and his beloved horse Blacky appeared in two movies.

A memorial service will be held at 5 PM on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Christian Fellowship Church, located at 140 Pudding Hill Rd, Scotland, CT 06264.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Pete's honor to the National Aphasia Association, supporting a cause important to him. Pete's legacy of love, commitment, and community involvement will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
