Aisha Payne Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 19, 2025.
Aisha Antionette Payne, born to Anastasia D Payne (Boaz) and Father Cedric Lyle Boaz Sr. Our beautiful daughter left this mortal earth to be with our heavenly father at 2:45 AM on Sunday August 17th. She took her last three breaths with her mother at her side.

She leaves behind a broken hearted sister, Lakiesha Payne, with whom she was inseparable, 3 nieces Tashianna Foster, Diaviane (Zion Smalls/Payne) in South Dakota, Catherine Payne in Connecticut, and 1 nephew, Apollo Summers. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, in Lexington Ky and St. Louis Missouri.

Aisha worked for Life Stream behavioral health center for seven years, as an outstanding social worker after graduating from UCF at the top of her class, with a Bachelors degree in Social work. She studied and completed the ASL course, and was also a member of the sorority Phi Theta Kappa.

She was a fighter who bounced back from breast cancer in 2019, and battling Chemo caused heart disease, before succumbing to an unbeatable infection of her Left Ventricular Assistive Device (LVAD).

Aisha was an avid Bingo player, where she met many life long friends who loved her completely. Aisha was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, and even at her death she wanted her commitment to helping others to continue, donating her body to the Science care hope program.

We will honor her home going on Saturday Aug. 30th 2025. Visitation 10am to 11am, service to follow at 11 to 11:45. During the service we will have a time for people to share short memories with Aisha. We simply ask that you be respectful of time. We are asking in remembrance of Aisha's favorite color if everyone could wear purple (if that is not possible Black is acceptable as well). Services will be led by her Bishop and be held at Church of Jesus Christ Latter Days Saints, 3850 Avalon Rd. Winter Garden FL 34787
