In the tapestry of life, certain threads stand out with unparalleled brilliance, and Al was undoubtedly one of those vibrant strands. For over five decades, I had the distinct honor of knowing and collaborating with him.
Al was not merely a builder of homes; he was a sculptor of dreams, transforming the humble into the extraordinary. Emerging from modest beginnings, he carved a path of resilience and determination, ultimately establishing his own company. Through his visionary leadership, he became one of the valley's most influential custom home builders, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape and in the hearts of those who had the privilege to work alongside him.
His generosity was boundless, extending beyond the walls of his creations. Al embodied honor in every interaction, treating colleagues and clients alike with respect and kindness. He understood that true success is measured not merely by achievements, but by the impact one has on the lives of others. It is individuals like Al who elevate the human experience, weaving connections that enrich our lives and communities.
Rest in peace, my good friend. Your journey may have concluded, but the echoes of your kindness will resonate in our hearts forever.

In October of 1973 my husband and I bought a house Al had built with a design by Art Dyson, architect. Al worked with us to help us make it our own. He was a kind man, interested in us as a young family. We have lived in the house for 51 years. I think of Al every day as I walk in and out the doors, down the hallways and out in the garden .

I have been very blessed to share many wonderful moments with Al and the family. Whenever I would see Al he had a big smile and hug for me, we would chit chat and laugh pretty much about anything. So many memories but some of the favorite were back in the day when Lupe (his wife) was still alive and seeing them both working in the kitchen at their restaurants. I give to the family my respect and love forever!
