Alan Seymour Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Alan Jay Seymour, announce his passing on August 28th, at the age of 57 years old. Alan will be forever remembered by his best friend and wife of 30 years, Gina Seymour, their precious children, Joseph, Joshua, Jacob, and Hannah, by his parents, Lee Krassner Cooke, father R. James Seymour and Jeanne Hafele Seymour, and his brothers Andrew and Neal. Alan will also be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends, colleagues, and the many patients he cared for during his extensive medical career.
Alan was born on November 10, 1960, on Long Island, New York. Alan loved growing up on Long Island; fishing and exploring. Alan attended Connetquot High School, New York University, and New York Medical College where he graduated with honors.
For more than 28 years, Alan served as a physician in private practice in Bay Shore, Long Island. Alan found great joy in caring for patients. In addition to his illustrative career, Alan really enjoyed watercolor painting, skiing, and traveling.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday August 31, 2018 at 12pm at I. J. Morris at 21 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills NY 11746. Guests can arrive at 11:30am to pay respects to the family.

On behalf of the Donner family, I want to express our condolences to Gina and the Seymour family. Dr. Seymour was our parent's primary care physician for many years. He was always there for them and was particularly close to our father, Aaron. Aaron thought the world of Dr. Seymour and credited him for his longevity. He was so much more than a physician, he was a loving friend.

I just found out about sweet Dr. Seymours passing and am shocked and saddened. I was his patient for 10 years. I tell the funny story of how I stumbled across his practice by accident when i walked into the bldg one day and asked the security guard if there were any good doctors there. He said yup Dr. Seymour! Doc was always so mellow, comforting and reassuring plus just a fun guy to talk to during an exam. My love and heartfelt condolences to his beloved family

My wife and I are deeply saddened at the passing of Dr. Seymour . We were patients of his for over 30 years . He was a great doctor and friend . He was so proud of his family . I was in the Marines and he couldn't wait to tell me about his son who is at this time is an officer in the Marines . I gave Dr. Seymour an item from my uniform and he was delighted . His passing has left a void in this world ! God bless him !

He has been my familys doctor for as long as I remember. He will always be remembered for his compassion and sincerity. Thank you for everything you have done for us Dr. Seymour! Love and prayers for your family.
