Alan Siciliano Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 12, 2015.
Alan Joseph Siciliano, age 38 of Ravenna, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015, at Robinson Memorial Hospital, losing his struggle with kidney disease.

He was born May 6, 1977, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Connie M. (Pizer) Webb and Ricky Lee Siciliano. Alan was a 1995 graduate of Crestwood High School.

Everyone that shared in Alan's life will always remember his unique, incomparable personality full of dry humor and quick wit. Alan had a strong sense of loyalty and dedication to family and friends alike. He had an exceptional relationship and devotion to his father. Alan was in his element when he and his dad were working side by side on projects at his dad's machine shop. Alan was proud to be a third generation painter; he had it in his genes just like his grandpa Pizer and his uncle Mark. He took great pride in his finished project. Recently, Alan had been working in shipping and receiving for Trelleborg in Streetsboro.

Alan was a soft spoken private man, full of creativity. He took piano lessons for ten years; it led to his lifelong enjoyment of composing poems and music as a hobby. Alan's riches in life came from simple pleasures: nature, a bonfire, music and gathering of close friends under the night stars. Alan was extremely generous and unselfish in life as he was upon his death. He demonstrated thoughtfulness and consideration for others by selflessly giving the Gift of Life through the Lifebanc.

Alan is survived by his mother and step-father Connie (Norman) Webb and his father and step-mother Rick (Denise) Siciliano. He is also survived by his brothers, Elliot (Jessica) Webb and Byron Webb, his sister Keri Lynn (Siciliano) Rossa, grandparents Milton and Betty Pizer and Oreste and Edna Siciliano, many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his former wife and friend, Jody Siciliano, dear friend Jackie Boatner, and his lifelong fishing buddy, Jason Perez.

Alan was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Blanche Gower and his uncle Alan M. Pizer.

Your life was a blessing,
Your memory a treasure
You are loved beyond words
And will be missed beyond measure.

When we are cut from good cloth, the patterns of our lives are always beautiful. We carve out a life full of joy and happiness. Even when change comes, we embrace it and let the glory of that, change us. We don't have to be known, but to have our loved ones know, makes us a part of the pattern and fabric of life. Norman, you have always been a kind and gentle soul, may your kindness be her strong tower as you lead her back to the sun shining in her life once again. I pass God'peace to you and the entire family!and gentleness, sustain your wife as she struggles with this event that has no word to describe it in our language.
