My love to you and your family, Mary Lee, in this sad time. I'll always be grateful to Al for his invites to my dad to the 1-2-3 Club, and remember fondly listening to both of them share their sports stories. Dinner at Kreis' will be all the more bittersweet without Al and his gentle spirit and kindness. His was a life well lived and, he, well loved by many.

Nearly 60 years ago I attended a basketball seminar at Concordia Seminary that was conducted by a few of the St. Louis Hawks. I remember Mr. Ferrari was very kind and helpful to me, and I never forgot his smile or his great attitude. Stayed with me a lifetime. Thanks, and R.I.P.

To The Ferrari Family,

Al was one of the best basketball players in Michigan State history while playing for hall of fame coach Pete Newell.

He was as great a person as he was an athlete.

My thoughts and prayers are with Marye Lee, Chris, and the entire Ferrari clan.
