Albert J "Al" Fowler

Albert J. "Al" Fowler, 59, of Rowley, Massachusetts, passed away on October 6, 2023. Al was born on December 3, 1963, in Newburyport, Massachusetts. He was a joyful and outgoing person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Al is survived by his sisters, Linda Stanley and Dianna Hammond, his aunt and uncle Toni and Arthur Adams, and many nieces and nephews, as well as grand nieces and grand nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles K. Fowler, his mother, Florence Fowler, his brother, David Fowler, his brother, Charles "Kenny" Fowler, his brother, Leroy Fowler, and his sister, Donna Cook.

Al attended Newburyport High School. Early on, he worked as a short order cook at fast food restaurants and diners. He then worked as a clerk and manager at a popular convenience store in Newbury for many years. Al was highly regarded by his colleagues and customers alike.

Al was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Newburyport, Massachusetts, where he served as a choir member for many years. More recently, he became a member of St. Mary's Parish in Rowley, Massachusetts.

In his free time, Al was an avid gardener with a "green thumb." He took great pride in his garden and enjoyed nurturing plants and flowers. He also loved going on rides and road trips with his friends and family, exploring new places and creating lasting memories.

A graveside burial service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Newburyport, Massachusetts, at 10:30 am on Friday, November 17, 2023. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.

Albert J. "Al" Fowler will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
