Albert Florez Guevara 5/20/1919 ~ 7/13/2008 Albert F. Guevara, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully July 13, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 20, 1919 in Morley, Colorado to Levi F. and Esther Guevara. He served in the Armed Forces during World War II and married in 1945. Albert was a boxer as a young man and enjoyed going to and watching boxing matches. He made a living as a brick mason and had just finished redoing the brickwork for his outdoor barbeque last month. He always had a funny story and made sure each generation heard the jokes he told the previous generation. He will be missed by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Barbara (Rick) Sanchez and Gloria Scoville; sons, Richard (Claudene) Guevara, Keith (Ginnie) Guevara, Fred (Barbara) Guevara, Danny (Jolie) Guevara and Ron Guevara; brothers, Nephi Florez, Joe Guevara and sister, Martha Martinez. He will also be missed by his 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother and father, five brothers and six sisters. Our father will dearly be missed. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 W. 4100 So. A viewing to honor Albert's life will be held Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.

Dear Aunt Bobbie and kids, I just wanted you to know how sad I am to lose my Uncle. He certainly lived a good long life and I know his mother, father and my mom (Rachel) among others were excited to see him on the other side. I know it is hard to see a loved one go no matter how old or the circumstances. My love and prayers are with all of you. Carmen
