Sorry to hear about Mr. Sirianni's passing. He was one of my 8th grade teachers. He took an interest in me and had confidence in me. He was the only teacher that took that extra effort to help me overcome some personal issues. He encouraged me to follow my passion. He came off as tough but he had the kids best interests in heart. He will have a life long impact on my life.

On the 1 year anniversary of Mr. Sirianni"s death I am very sorry to just learn of this. He and his wife Pi were a part of my life for a very long time. Pi was my school nurse from grade school and she and my mom became quite close. They became family friends. We spent days in the summer on the beach with them collecting seaglass. In 7th grade Mr Sirianni was my teacher. That was scary he had quite a reputation for being strict ....and he was. Later they came to my wedding, baby shower and my sisters wedding. I loved them both. In 2010 I got my BSN and when i sent him a letter he not only wrote back but gave each i=of my 3 girls a generous savings bond. He was a wonderful man and truly made a positive impact on my life. Because of him I never run in halls, would never chew gum in a class and will always remember the three R's respect, responsibility and refinement. May you rest in peace Mr and Mrs Sirianni

I, unfortunately, just learned of Mr. Sirianni's passing. Noting the total number of educator's I had (in the 100's) I can unequivocally state that this gentleman is in my top three, inclusive of College and Law School. His impact continues to this day in both my professional and personal life. I hadn't seen or heard from him for over 45 years, but had the pleasure of a short encounter with his wife about fifteen years back. She was in a jury pool for a criminal case I was about to try and, for reasons I can't explain, she raised her hand when asked if any juror's knew the attorneys. She exclaimed during the short side-bar that my name was familiar and after learning the reasons why, she told me how proud he would be upon her return when she would tell him of her experience. In turn, I told her how grateful I was for having this great man impart the wisdom and unforgettable drive that guided me through life. Always the three "R's"

You will be missed uncle Albie. I have so many wonderful memories of us as I grew up. Reading a text book to you over the phone, you being there for me when I made my confirmation at church. More recently looking for dante your dog after super storm sandy. I and my mother ( Tillie Sirianni ) became detectives asking people in your home town during all the craziness, closed roads after the storm. Then visiting you in the hospital giving you the good news we found him. R.I.P

There are so many memories and each one special. My first wedding, dancing with my favorite cousin Jimmy, vacations at the Beach with my best friend. Candlelight dinners after an awful test in Nursing School. Being a special part of our wedding, Dog and Cat sitting. Being there for me when my Mom was sick, and then my Dad. Helping me raise my children, teaching them lessons they won't ever forget, including the Three R's!!! You were always there for us and we, in turn chose to be there for you when you needed us. You have more than touched our lives. We will be eternally grateful for having known you. When everyone speaks of our beloved Marialana we now know that you were the wind beneath her wings. Rest in Peace. Your journey will live on!!
Ps. Sorry I could not figure out how to do spell check, so I hope my spelling and grammer is correct...

I remember Mr. Sirianni as a quiet "giant"--given that I am still "vertically challenged" and he was rather tall when I had him in 7th grade Social Studies. I did not then appreciate in his teaching what I do now as a Science teacher in NY. May he be at peace now with his wife, whom I also remember as my school nurse. God bless his family.

I was privileged to have Al as a staff member at Land O' Pines School for many years. Al was the consummate professional educator - setting high educational and personal standards for both himself and his students. He achieved enormous success in both areas! He was a pleasure to work with; a true team player in all respects. Rest peacefully, Al, knowing you touched many lives along your life's journey...and, don't forget to "tuck in your shirt" ! My condolences to the entire family. Sincerely - Richard Thompson, Retired Principal - Land O'Pines School.
