Albert Turner Obituary

TURNER _ Albert Douglas (Doug), born December 3, 1921, passed away suddenly on May 14, 2005. Survived by his loving wife Mildred; children, Cathie Shewchuk (Steve), Larry Turner (Louise), Vennette Cowie (Stan), Ken Howitt and Michele Batchelor; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister Beth Dowding (Neville) and many other relatives and friends. Doug was a founding member of the Vancouver Outboard Boating Club. During his career, he worked for BC Packers and RJ Spagnol's. His family owned Turner Millinery in Vancouver for many years. There is no service by request. A tea will be held on Sunday, May 22nd. In lieu of flowers, Doug's family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon, 1212 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V6H 3V2. "Gone Boating" Columbia-Bowell 604-521-4881

A very fond farewell to the Senior Grandchild Of the Munn Family.

Doug was my oldest Cousin and we had many good times at Crystal Water Beach and South Beach in the mid 1930's.
