Mrs. Baser(Tinder),
She was always full of life and smiles! I jade her for Biology and for our cheerleading advisor! When my knee got crushed and I showed up to her class job ling in my uniform, she kindly had me to seek medical attention lol!nShe made learning fun! I will hold her smiles and wonderful personality in my memories always! Rest in Peace and my sincerest condolences to her son and daughter! ~Nadine Morse, VRHS

When I learned of Tinder's passing a few days ago, I was not only deeply saddened, but felt that so many people who loved her, learned from her, benefited from her knowledge and dedication will probably now stop and reflect on the impact that Tinder had in each of their lives. Tinder was and is a woman who left a lasting impression on every life she touched. I know I will always think of Tinder as a lady who loved a good laugh, who could put any 4-star chef to shame and lived for her family. To me, Tinder will always be a special friend I met when she became, along with Natalie, a cherished addition to the Opstrup family. God, how lucky we were...

Dear Natalie and family, I just read your mother's obituary and all I could think was I wish I could've known her! What a beautiful and fulfilling life she led with great intelligence and humor and a real "joie de vivre" and it's clear that everyone adored her. I'm hoping your wonderful memories of this very special lady will help you cope with the immense sadness of your loss. Very sincerely, Cindy Maturo

Loved, Loved Mrs. Baser! She was my science teacher who put up with Jimmy Rankin as my lab partner doing CRAZY things with dissected frogs etc.. BEST of all I was blessed to have her as my basketball and soccer cheerleading coach! She not only taught me to be a great cheerleader, but also so many life lessons as my coach! In later years we did soup kitchen together on a team at St. John´s Episcopal church in Essex! She was an amazing woman with the kindest heart!!!!
