Dear Cousins Jack, Mark and Evie,
Many sympathies to you on the loss of your father. Your father was such a sweet man; he was so kind and friendly on the occasions that I met him. I hope that you are comforted somehow by the thought that he has reunited with his dear Anne.
I am sorry that I was unable to attend the funeral or shiva, but I am glad my parents and brother were able to be there.
May You Be Comforted Among the Mourner's of Zion and Jerusalem.

Dear Jack and Eileen:
My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. I remember meeting your father quite a few years back when you started your practice in Oakland. He was a kind man with a great sense of humor. You and your family have always been in my thoughts and memories. I pray that God's presence will strengthen you during this sad time.

I am sorry to read about Mr. P.'s passing. He was a great guy and I enjoyed hearing him talk about his love of sports, his garden, and the food that he enjoyed eating. I know that this is a sad time for Eva and her family. I saw Mr. P. frequently at the hospice and I hope that you realize that his end time was very peaceful and that he had no regrets. I will be remembering his family and especially him. You were blessed to have had him for these many years.
Sincerely, Louise Gray (volunteer at Forbes Hospice)

EVE AND BENJIE,
I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR DAD' S PASSING. I KNOW YOU BOTH DID SO MUCH FOR HIM. YOU HELPED HIM FEEL A SENSE OF FAMILY AND BELONGING WHEN HE CAME TO LIVE WITH YOU , MADE SURE HE MADE HIS CARD GAMES AND HAD HIS FAVORITE ICE CREAM. HE WAS BLESSED TO HAVE CHILDREN THAT CARED FOR HIM THE WAY YOU DID. I LOVED SEEING THE JOY HIS FACE WHEN HE CAME TO SEE RICHARD AND LAUREN,
HE WAS A PROUD GRANDPA. NOW HE WILL BE WITH THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE ANNE, AND BE TOGETHER FOREVER.
MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO YOUR FAMILY,
