Alexa's story has touched my heart and soul ... as I sit here and read this "guest book," I see the many lives she's impacted and the legacy she's left behind. You should be so proud to read (& know) how many people loved and were affected by her. Though you (nor Alexa) never knew me, I still couldn't possibly know where to begin in offering condolences to your family. May God be with you, and may Alexa watch over you during this trying time in your lives. I will hold my daughter closer tonight, and every night.
February 27, 2010
My most sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to all of Alexa's loved ones. You have all been in my prayers, including Alexa herself. Rest in peace, Alexa.

Eplett Family,
I extend my deepest and heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Alexa. Even though Alexa and I were not very close in high school, I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. The one quality that always stood out to me was that she was a competitor on the soccer field, the track and in the classroom. She always wanted to be the best and inspired others around her to work harder. I've never met anyone who was more well-liked and friendlier than she was. She will be greatly missed, may she rest in peace.

Dear Eplett Family,
I did not know Alexa extremely well; however, the few times we saw eachother or talked in class or just smiled and nodded at eachother as we passed in the hallway, were so special. Her beautiful spirit and passion was a breath of fresh air. She has touched and blessed the lives of so many people, including mine. I am deeply sorry for your loss. May Alexa's beautiful soul be at peace now, and the remembrance and love for her remain in our hearts always. God bless you.

Dear Eplett Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Alexa was a fantastic person. Even though we were only with her for a year at school, I know that the whole team grew close. Alexa helped out the freshman so much by making us feel welcome and she helped us not fear the transition in to high school. She always had a smile on her face even when we had conditioning at eight in the morning. Know every time we are on the field whether it’s training or in the heat of a game we will be thinking of her. I know that a lot of the team looked up to her and she made soccer look so easy. She was always there if someone need help. Alexa Will always be in our hearts

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there. I do not die.

The Eplett Family:
I did not know your daughter/sister; but my daughter Marissa did...she attended Pitt and they lived 2 rooms apart on the same floor in Lothrop. As a parent, I am at a loss for words to comfort you..Please know that I am deeply, deeply saddened by your loss and your entire family has been in my thoughts and prayers. Your daughter was the first person to welcome my daughter on her first day at Pitt...they had dinner together and had been friends since. I know a light has gone out in Marissa's life...she is trying to make sense of this; but can't. She is finding comfort in remembering your beautiful daughter with the other "9th Floor girls"...They know that they now have a Guardian Angel watching over them...and that angel's name is Alexa.
God Bless all of you.
