Dear Adeline & Family: recently I came across wedding photos from 1963, Al & Adeline's wedding, in which I was a member of their bridal party. I checked my computer search tool for current information and "surprisingly" Al's obituary appeared. I was saddened to learn of his passing. I too lost my Bob in 2016.
The hurt doesn't go away, but I have so many wonderful memories as I am sure, you 'all' also have. Cherish them as it will make sorrow less difficult to bear.
Grief changes with time, it is a passage not a place to stay. It is not a sign of weakness or a lack of faith. Al is more than a memory, nothing will ever separate any of you from him, not even death. Never underestimate the "power of prayer" it gives us direction. I extend my deepest sympathy to all of you. I have so many good memories of Mr. Ferguson from our childhood, so many sleep overs on Myrtle Avenue. He was a genuinely loving and dedicated family man who had a positive impact on everyone who knew him. Deepest sympathy to all of you at this time of sorrow and loss.

The memories that produce such a feeling of loss and sadness now will in the future be the treasures that will keep Al in your heart forever. I am so sorry for your loss.
