ALFRED FRIEDMAN Obituary
The Yeshiva University family mourns the passing of Alfred S. Friedman, Z"L. He had been a member of the Stern College Board of Overseers since 1989 and also served as the Board's treasurer. His wife, Lilly Friedman, followed him as a member of the Board. Together, they are YU Guardians. A lawyer and a respected philanthropist in the Five Towns area, he was always supportive of scholarships for deserving and needy students, often together with his brother Maurice "Moshe" Friedman. Our condolences go out to his wife, Lilly Friedman; his brother, Maurice Friedman; his children, all graduates of YU schools: Avi (Naomi) Friedman, Francine (Dr. Stuart) Morduchowitz, and Marc (Sharon) Friedman; and his grandchildren.
