Alfred SIMONSON

SIMONSON, Alfred S. Alfred S. Simonson passed away in the Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital on September 14th, 2004 at 92 years old after breaking a hip. Alf was born in Edmonton, Alberta, March 18th, 1912. He was the oldest of nine children born to Oscar and Hilda Simonson. He is survived by his two daughters, Maureen (Bev) Kramer of Fort St. John, B.C., Donna (Jim) Musgrave of Kamloops, B.C.; four grandchildren, Ken (Linda) Kramer and Sherry (Brian) Lumley of Fort St. John, B.C., Curtis (Fiona) Kramer of Calgary, Alta., Shane (Christina) Cote of Kelowna, B.C.; six great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Kelsey and Stacey Lumley, Tyler, Breanne and Braedon Kramer. He is also survived by three sisters, Vina Louch, Helen (Doug) Webb, Bernadine (Ed) Glansman; two brothers, Gordon (Ruth) Simonson, Donald Simonson; sisters-in-law, Vivian Simonson, Alma Feragen, Viola McKenzie; and many special nieces and nephews and friends. Alf was predeceased by his wife, Hildur in, April 7, 1995; two brothers, Clifford and Kenneth; and one sister, Verna. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held in the Legion Memorial Hall (Southeast door), 5703 - 48 Avenue in Camrose, Alberta on October 16th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Legion or a charity of your choice.
