Alice Reyes Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 26, 2010.
Our beloved mother, Alicia Montano Reyes passed away on December 26, 2010 on the Feast of the Holy Family. She was born on July 12, 1923 in Pirtleville, AZ to Guadalupe and Rosendo Montano, the second of three daughters. She was the true example of leading a holy family. She was a loving and kind mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her six children, Cynthia Sidrian, Patricia (Michael) Stevenson, Richard (Johanna) Reyes, Michelle (Mark) Van Patten, Anthony Reyes and Christine Reyes; six grandchildren Michelle and Manuel Sidrian, Tommy (Christie) Reyes, Courtney (Anthony) DiLeva, Katie Scarlett Reyes and Elizabeth Stevenson; and her beloved five great grandchildren, Gibson and Olivia Reyes; Benjamin and Gabriel DiLeva; and Mason Van Cleave. Her life was dedicated to God and church especially Holy Trinity Parish (50 year parishioner), her husband, her children and all of her extended family. Alicia was married to our dad, Jesus Reyes for 48 blessed years. We rejoice that they are together again. Alicia is also survived by her two sisters, Eva Feddern and Marie Valdez and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who mourn her passing. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Manuel Sidrian. Alicia lived a beautiful, simple life of faith and family. We will miss her dearly. We love you, Mom! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Debt Reduction Fund. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 beginning at 6 pm with a Rosary Service held at 7 pm at McNerney's Mortuary Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 10 am at Hol
