Allan Fox Obituary
Celebration of Life service will be held at Dignity Colonial Funeral Home; 625 Kitty Hawk Rd Universal City, Tx 7814, on March 24, 2018, at 2:00 pm with Reverend Sara Fisher officiating. Reception to follow at 8522 Greaves Ln Schertz, TX 78154.
Allan was born in Ames, Iowa to parents Allan Emery Fox and Sarah Hazel Metz Fox on March 14, 1954. He graduated from Northeast High School in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1972 and then attended University of Nebraska at Kearney achieving a BA in Education. Allan taught as a Special Education Teacher for thirty plus years. He was passionate about his students and helping them achieve. He was an active member of Rolling Oaks Christian church serving in a variety of roles: Elder, camp counselor, teacher, trustee and more.
He is survived by his son Chamnan Fox and daughter Thavyna Fox along with his sister Margaret Fox Zabel from Lincoln, Nebraska, brothers Jefferson Fox and brother-in-law Gabe Tiogangco from Kailua, Hawaii; Frank Fox and sister-in-law Gloria from Tempe, Arizona, and numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his partner Billy Gilmore, parents, grandmother Blanche Metz, and brother Robert Fox.
