With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Allen Curtis Howells, 60, of Bradwell, Saskatchewan, who passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 1, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Allen will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Brenda (Norrington); daughter Michelle; son Greg; and three dearly loved granddaughters MacKenzie, Avery and Olivia. He is also survived by his siblings; Gerry (Janet); Darryl (Brenda); Margaret (Bernie); Les (Sonya); and Katherine (Cecil); mother and father-in- law, Mary and Vern; brothers and sisters-in- law Kelly (Laurie); Lori; Bonnie (Harvey); along with numerous extended family and friends. Allen was predeceased by his parents Jesse and Doris. Allen was born on November 8, 1952 in Davidson and spent his childhood on the family farm just outside of Kenaston. Allen and Brenda were married in 1976 and moved to Bradwell. Allen's passion was farming, which he pursued his entire life. Allen and Brenda purchased Ter-Ray Services in 1985, which they still own and operate. Allen and Brenda built their home on the farm in 1989, and with hard work and determination they created their own piece of paradise which Allen was extremely proud of. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Corrine, Allen's palliative homecare nurse, for her excellent care.
