Alma Lou (Griffin) Knight, born September 25, 1926 in Haskell, Texas, died July 16, 2017. She grew up in Amarillo, Texas and graduated from Amarillo High School in January, 1945.

She married Sherwood Scott (Jack) Knight, III on December 24, 1944, whom preceded her in death on October 24, 1996; they were married 52 years.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jo Bertram of Big Spring, TX.

She is survived by her daughters, Pam Jones and husband Joe of Amarillo, TX; Shirley Campbell and husband Bill of Lubbock, TX; son, Scott Knight and wife Michelle of Lakeside, TX; seven grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Alma Lou was a volunteer at Lakeside Covenant Hospital Auxiliary. She knitted prayer shawls for the Prayer Shawl Ministry at Second Baptist Church. Knitting, sewing, painting, crocheting and needlepoint were her gifts and she enjoyed sharing the fruits of her labor with her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 31, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
