I and shocked and saddened to learn of Amber's sudden passing. She was my team leader at Wegmans. She was an energetic worker and a fair and respectful person, a model for us. I will really miss her. My deepest condolences to her family.

Amber, in general, is very memorable. I have taught bread production for years in and outside of Wegmans and Amber has always stuck out in my mind. She was usually on point, there to help guide her team, offering structure, having an action plan, but she also had the rare ability to be very nurturing and supportive. One memory I would like to share is when we were training for Midlothian and at the closing of the day Amber would ask us to go around the room and say "what's good"....now that seems like a simple enough question and inquiry, but in this hectic world it's often times difficult to see the silver lining.
I believe Amber was what's good in this world. She was the silver lining that is often times not fully seen unless you offer up an open heart and mind to it. She was that rare shade of light that only can be viewed when you are at a place to fully appreciate it. I hope all that knew her keep that light within the chambers of your hearts and when times get rough, as they usually do, you can do as Amber.....look on the bright side and ask yourself, "what's good?'
To her family and friends...thank you for sharing Amber with our company---thank you for instilling in her strength, compassion, diligence, and laughter. We were all deeply sadden by this lose, but we also found great comfort and appreciation in that fact that got to work with her...if only for a short time.
My deepest regards.
Morgan
