MURDOCK, Amy J. Otsego, MI Amy passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born August 9, 1968 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Bennard and Ellen (Ort) Pickett. Amy was an Otsego High School graduate and enjoyed reading, travel and playing with her dogs. She was a very kind and caring woman and loved her family more than anything. On December 9, 1989 at the First Congregational Church of Otsego she married Donald Murdock who survives. Also surviving are her children, Matthew (Amber) Murdock and Nathaniel Murdock all of Otsego; mother, Ellen; sister, Deborah Pickett of WA; father-in-law, Bob Murdock of Otsego; several nieces, nephews and extended family members and her dogs, Winston and Maddie. She was preceded in death by her father, Bennard and mother-in-law, Ann Murdock. Friends may meet with Amy's family from 6-8PM Thursday, March 24, 2016 and starting at 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, with friend Tom Oldham officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego. Contributions in memory of Amy may be made to the SPCA of Kalamazoo. Messages of condolence may be posted at www.WinkelFuneralHome.com.

We "Snow Angels" are so saddened to learn of the passing of Ellen's daughter. Amy is now living with the angels in heaven forever.
