Jim, I just found out (2-16-12) and I am praying for you and the girls
during this time. Amy and I spent countless hours together as young
girls. Amy was an incredibly kind person with sweet and welcoming
smile. I am thankful for the wonderful memories of Amy, but my heart
is broken.

To Jim, Jessica, Cheri, and the rest of the family: I just found out about Amy and am deeply saddened by the news. I can't begin to know your pain and sorrow. Amy will be missed by all who knew her. She was a vibrant life in this crazy and chaotic world and always had a beautiful smile to share. I remember her excitement when she told me Cheri was "on the way". Many hugs to you and the family.

Jim,
Just want you to know that I am praying for your strength. It is hard to understand at first, but our God does not make any mistakes. He saw that his garden needed another flower so he picked Amy. Just trust in Lord, with all your heart, acknowledge him and he will direct your path. Take one day at time, remembering all the good and forget any bad and lean on your friends.

I just found out today (12/28) of the passing of Amy and am deeply saddened. I met and worked with Amy with the bank merger to BB&T. She was such a great, sweet & loving person. I hope that you will find some joy in your great memories of her.

In the short time that I was blessed to have Amy as my sister, I was able to see that she truly was an angel. I always felt she had a special presence that caused those around her to want to be a better person. Although, my heart will miss her dearly, I am honored to know that I have a special guardian angel watching over me. I love you Amy!

We all know a few people in our lives who are very special; for us, Amy was one of these. Without us even realizing it, she was teaching us that gentleness, tenderness and sweetness, can be so very strong and powerful. We are very thankful that God allowed us the time to learn such an important lesson.

I have fond memories of Amy and I playing when we were children- and even though I have not see her in many years this news saddened me to tears. There are no words to comfort you in this great loss- but know that faith in God will see you through in the coming months. She will be forever missed.
