WOONSOCKET - Andre F. Lambert, 66, of Mowry Street, Harrisville, passed away Saturday evening, July 30, 2016, at Hebert Health Center in Smithfield. Born in Woonsocket, RI a son of late Romeo and Edeonne (Desautels) Lambert.
He retired from General Motors in 2000 and then from Poplar Precision in Lincoln in 2005. He also worked in the construction field for many years. Mr. Lambert was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving his country proudly. His hobbies included playing quoits at Le Club Par-X and Club Lafayette for many years. He was a member of the RI Studebaker Club. He also enjoyed fishing, pitch and cribbage.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Levesque) Lambert of Harrisville, two sons, John and Steven Lambert both of Harrisville, two sisters, Diane Terranova of Harrisville and Celeste Beauparlant of Foster. Also one grandson, Logan X. Lambert and two step granddaughters, Shayla and Teigan.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9:30am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Patrick's Church, Main Street, Harrisville. Military honors will follow. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 until 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Andre F.
