Andrea D. Steffen, age 73, of Gurnee, IL, peacefully passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at her home in the presence of her family. She was born in Waukegan, IL and was married to the late Donald J. Steffen Sr. (2012).
She graduated from Warren Township High School and worked as a manager for Hickory Manor Apartments. Andrea and Donald loved to travel. She loved her children, was funny, and enjoyed laughing. She was a Bears fan who loved the casinos and Christmas was her favorite holiday.
Andrea is survived by her children Denise Bessette, Debbie (Gil) Rodriguez, Doug (Sherry) Styden, Tina Clark, Donald J. Steffen Jr., Donna (Scott) Walsh, Joni (William) Cox; grandchildren, Nicole (Joe), Crystal (Rosendo), Sarah, Melissa, Joshua, Alexis, Karissa, Brandon, Aaron, Jessica, Kristopher, Crystal, Mason, Ian, Alicia, Hannah, Emilee; 19 great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert English Jr.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents Robert Sr. and Marcella English; and sister-in-law, Susan English.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022; a second visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. and the Funeral Service begins at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022. Both visitations and the funeral service will be at Gurnee Salata Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL 60031. Interment follows funeral service at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
