Andrew Graziano Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 17, 2025.
Andrew Graziano, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, rode off into the sunset on March 15, 2025 in Snellville, GA, at the age of 83. Born on January 5, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, Andy lived a life defined by love, laughter, and family.

As the oldest of three brothers, Andy set high standards and had great ambitions. He served in the Air National Guard of New York, a reserve of the Air Force, for six years where he honed his skills and passions working on planes. During this time, he attended community college and studied mechanical technology leading him to spend most of his career as an engineer for The New York Telephone Company.

Beyond work, Andy was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He enjoyed coaching hockey, softball, football, basketball - but never soccer! When he wasn't on the field, he was painting "happy little trees" alongside Bob Ross in the basement, cheering on the Mets, Braves, or Falcons, driving the local school bus, or ordering incredibly tacky American pride t-shirts online.

Andrew leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Mary Anne. Together, they built a life centered around their family, creating countless cherished memories. He was a proud father to his children: Dawn Graziano, Lisa Morgia, Andrew Graziano (Kelly), Dana Pate (Kevin), Nick Graziano (Hayley), and Marissa Graziano (Sam). His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren-Brittany Sharkey, AJ Graziano, Jessica Morgia, Chris Morgia, Emerson Pate, Elliot Pate, and Mercedes Graziano - as well as his great-granddaughter, Gianna Sharkey. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Costigan.

While Andy has hung up his hat for the last time, his jovial spirit and uncompromising love for his family will live on. A private service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
