Andrew Higgins Obituary
He was born on Nov. 12, 1987 in West Branch to Joseph and Elizabeth (Albers) Higgins. Andy was a long-time resident of Hale where he graduated high school and went on to attend the IRESA Tech Center in Tawas.
Andy loved spending time with his family and outings with friends. He liked bowling, music, watching movies, and was a Spartan's fan. Andrew participated in the Special Olympics where he competed in running events. He was an avid walker and walked anywhere and everywhere he could.
Andy is survived by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth; and brother, Daniel Higgins; nephew, Walker Higgins; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many friends. Andy is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Services for Andy will take place at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Thursday Dec. 22 at 11 a.m. with a luncheon to follow. An online guest registry is available at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com to share condolences and memories of Andrew.

Andy always made a visit to Dease lake a little brighter, with his pleasant - friendliness , when he would walk over to say hello and visit. He will be missed!
