Andrew Joseph Jarosz

Andrew J. Jarosz passed away peacefully on October 17th after a 4-year battle with cancer surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 61. He was predeceased in death by his parents Stanley and Patricia, and brothers Michael and James. Survived by his loving wife Mary, stepchildren Ariel and Joseph, nephews CJ, Patrick and Hunter.

Andrew was born on April 19th 1961. He was raised in Ardmore Pa and attended Haverford High School before embarking on his career in the United States Air Force, Pennsylvania National Guard, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Management. He retired in 2013, after 32 years of service. Andrew proudly continued to serve his country at the Defense Contract Management Agency, he retired in 2017.

Andrew easily made friends wherever he went, but remained loyal and loving to his childhood friends, neighbors, and Air Force friends. He never forgot anyone who touched his life in some way, and cherished each and every one of their friendships. A true friend and kind person he was absolutely.

He loved helping people, and would jump in and help anytime he saw someone was in need. His generous spirit will live on in the memories of all who were lucky to have known him. Andrew was a traveler; he visited all 50 states as well as internationally. Andrew thought the planning of a trip was almost as fun as the trip itself. He loved the simple things, a drive in his truck, road trips, his firework display on July 4th, collecting books and coins, music, a good conversation, and most importantly any time spent with his family and friends.

Memorial services will be private
