Angela Dawn Roberts

Angela D. Roberts, 31, of Georges Creek, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, due to drug addiction.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Linda E. McDaniel, Herb Barefield and Marie DeKnight; uncle, Allen Barefield Sr.; and cousin, Dale Barefield.

Left to cherish her memory, her children, Lindsey and Kailynn Snodgrass of Georges Creek, their dad, John Snodgrass of Nitro; and Steven Kessel Jr. of Beckley, his dad, Steven Kessel Sr. of Belle; mother, Becky Smith and step-dad, David Springston of Georges Creek; father, Pete Roberts of Milton; sisters, Amy (Billy) Fields, Larna “Derek” Adkins and Jessica Adkins, all of Georges Creek, and Debra Roberts of Huntington; grandpa, Jim McDaniel of Big Chimney; great-grandma, Ruby McDaniel of Georges Creek; aunts and uncles, Herb (Loretta) Barefield of Dawes, Kim (Glen) Moles of Georges Creek, April (Tommy) Vance of Big Chimney, Dennis (Sue) Roberts of Charleston, Danny Roberts of Huntington, Judy (Bob) Chapman of Salt Rock, Katrina Gay of Cross Lanes and Christina Barefield Farrow of Mentor, Ohio; great-aunts and -uncles, Ritha (Bobby) Hamilton of Cross Lanes, Judy (Timmy) Green, Darrell (Alma) McDaniel and Butch (Janet) McDaniel, all of Georges Creek; best friends, Amanda Casto of Kenna and Brandi Smailes of Spencer; special nephew, Devin Fields of Georges Creek; step siblings, Brandon, Amber and Ashley Springston of Spencer; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Teyah, Brennen, Kendra, Kloey and Scotty; and a host of cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Sister Ginger Hodge officiating. The burial will follow the service at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.

A visitation with family and friends will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
