Angie was born in 1940 in the small village of Castiglione di Carovilli, Italy. She came to America with her father, Michele, and her younger brother Dominic in 1955. She loved her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved all of them immensely and rarely missed a birthday or an event. Angie enjoyed time with her friends, usually talking about family. She loved to cook and truly enjoyed passing down her Italian traditions to others, especially her sauce recipe. Often talked about her youth and upbringing. She enjoyed her prayer group and looked forward to them every Wednesday. Now reunited with her daughters, Nancy and Adriana, and many family and friends, she is free of all pain and suffering. So sorry to hear of the loss of Angie. Just went to Knollwood to visit my father and Adriana...noticed the marble name plate of Angie Ianiro downstairs. What a shock it is! I remember all the wonderful food and deserts she would have me try. May she rest in peace. God bless you Remo and the rest of the family.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I went to Mayfield High School with her daughter Nancy. Nancy was so kind, smart and a wonderful track teammate. I know Nancy loved her mother and her family. They were very close. I hope her mother knew how much Nancy's friends loved her and thought of her with affection and grief over the decades.
