Anita Christine Swogger

Anita Christine Swogger passed away peacefully on June 10th 2024. She was a Las Vegas resident since 1974. She was born March 25th 1950 in Oregon. Anita worked in the casino industry as a blackjack dealer starting out at the Royal Inn in 1979, then opened the Barbary Coast in 1979 as well. She continued her career at the Golden Nugget, until she moved back to Oregon to take care of her grandparents in 1994. She moved back to Las Vegas in 2000, and continued her career at the Sun Coast where she worked until retirement. Anita is survived by her two sons, six grandchildren, and one great-grandson. She will be missed greatly. Anita's service will be held this spring at Hill Dunn Cemetery in Ashland Oregon.
