I am so sorry to hear of her passing to cancer. From France, lots of love and courage to all her dear ones.
The next tree I'll plant will be in her memory, so that each year blooms bring a smile, where she would have brought the world smiles with her sense of humour.

Et vaig coneixer a Llafranc , cosina de la Christine Murillo, et vaig tornar a veure a Paris fa un any i escaig, la teva mort inesperada i estúpida m'ha deixat molt trist. A Llafranch , i arreu, trobaran a faltar el teu somriure.
Si hi ha una altra vida et desitjo la major felicitat.

Anita helped me find and believe in myself in ways I could never have done alone. She did this with her gentleness, her fierceness, her courage, her goodness, her authenticity and so much more. Maybe it was simply her being by my side. We had a bond that time and distance did not fray even though we went our separate ways many decades ago. I can only hope that I made any kind of difference for her. She was a gift to the world, a true gift.

Kind. Quiet. Funny. Home room for 4 years at Girls High. Finding that we took the same bus to get to the subway - we were neighbors. We had the same address number but not the same street.
Most recent memories -- a mini-reunion weekend on LBI and on up to our 55th in October 2023.
-- Paris. We had lunch. Then she got a gig and I got to see her perform.
Always kind, quiet, and funny.

Her and TJs wedding. I loved seeing that beach party with that pig cooked perfectly. I watched them get married on the beach with Dad, Aunt Bobbi an Uncle Touffie next to me . It was 1 of my favorite days. The whole day was magical and fun.
I'm going to miss the beach house with my cuz. She was so perfect for my little girl to watch them connect. Heaven gained an Angel but we lost a legendary women for the Extended Allen/Suleiman side. Love you CUZ!!

Anita was a kind, sweet, caring person. She was a quiet, sunny presence, and we never saw anything but a warm smile from her.
Rest sweet girl...

In all my memories of Anita, it seemed that just when I thought I had come to know her, she'd pop up with something else she had accomplished in her early years. Case in point. She told me that she had worked in a sanctuary for wolves, and how she would sit in their area, and they would come near and she would nuzzle and pet them. Wolves. WOLVES. She continued to amaze me throughout our friendship. There are other memories of course. But it always struck me that this gentle, soft spoken, loving human could sit in a place that most of us would die from fright is proof positive of her inherent goodness and indomitable spirit. I miss her more each day, if that's even possible, but I feel blessed that we re-formed our friendship when we did.

I adored Anita. We met years ago and bonded right away. My brother was best of friends with her husband and I grew up with Tj often in our home. Later in life I house cleaned for them, when they resided in Ewing, NJ. I will miss Sweet Anita and she knew how Special she was to me. My heart is broken and will Always remember her kind and gentle ways. The world lost someone that is truly unique and my heart goes out to her family and Bestie Gary Bognar. Heaven gained an Angel and I lost of very dear friend. Love ya girl
