Ann Virginia Luer, age 95 of Oxford (formerly of Waukesha) passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Gunderson Moundview Hospital in Friendship. Ann (WAZA10) is now embarking on yet another adventure, the greatest one of all her adventures!

Ann was born on December 28, 1929 in Clark Island, Maine the eighth of nine children to Alfred and Elna (Nilson) Lind. Ann married Levi "Lee" Luer on December 1, 1950 and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2002.

Ann was a retiree of Waukesha Engine Company, now General Electric Co. She started her career there in 1951 as a clerk-typist and retired in 1991 as Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Manufacturing. She was a member of the Old Timers Club.

Ann and Lee had been charter members of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and later Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, both in Waukesha. Upon moving to Oxford, they attended the First Presbyterian Church where Ann became a member in 2004.

Ann is the last surviving sibling and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Honoring Ann's request, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield with private services.

Crawford Funeral and Cremation Service of Oxford and Montello is honored to be serving the family. www.CrawfordFH.com
