Ann G. Nelson, 91, of Lenexa, KS, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Lakeview Village Care Center. Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 9, at the Colonial Presbyterian Church, (Dalbey Chapel), 9500 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64114. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Colonial Presbyterian Church. Ann was born October 23, 1920, in Eldridge, AL to D.L. and Rhoda Gatlin. She was a member of Colonial Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her dearly beloved husband, Joseph M. Nelson, two daughters, Kathy (Stephen) Robinson, Las Vegas, NV, Nancy L. Segal, Lenexa, KS, granddaughter, Lydia Segal, sister Jenny Lind Fuller, niece, Elizabeth (Randy) Ware, nephew Stephen (Lynn) Fuller and great nieces and great nephews. Joe, I just recently earned of Ann's death and am so very sorry. She was a beautiful lady and I know that you loved her very much. My sympathy to you and your family.

My sympathy to Joe and his family over the death of Ann. I knew Joe and Ann in the 70s and 80s when we were runners and attended most of the races in the KC area, especially Hospital Hill. She was a fine lady.
