Born on February 9, 1960, in Long Beach, California, Ann was the daughter of Elgin and Elizabeth Van Meter. She began her high school education at Malabar Senior High in Mansfield, Ohio, before completing at Conestoga High School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, in 1978. Afterward, she continued her nursing career in private practice and devoted much of her time to charitable organizations, most notably Irving Cares. She loved her dog Phoebe, North Carolina basketball, playing tennis, long walks, puzzles, and card games. She cherished her time with her four grandchildren - Kennedy Enright, Owen Enright, Witten Rudeen, and Walker Rudeen - whom they affectionately called Grammie. She also valued the moments spent with her children, Alison Enright and Matthew Rudeen.

She is survived by her former husband, Scott (Rudy) Rudeen of Irving; her daughter, Alison Nicole Enright (Mitch) of Edmond, Oklahoma; her son, Matthew Scott Rudeen (Chloe) of Lewisville, Texas; her grandchildren, Kennedy and Owen Enright, and Witten and Walker Rudeen; her mother, Elizabeth Van Meter of Westerville, Ohio; her sisters, Carol Van Meter Carey (Douglas) of Worthington, Ohio, and Janet Van Meter McDonough (Daniel) of Avon Lake, Ohio; her nieces and nephews, Julie Rudeen Marshall (Crystal), Sara Rudeen Rogers (Ryan), Todd Mapes, Jordyn Rudeen, Sydney Rudeen, Kendal Danielsen Mohr (Keith), Corie Danielsen Nelson (Cody), Emily Madigan, Grant Madigan, John Madigan; and her great-niece, Wilder Marshall. Ann and I volunteered at Irving Cares together for several years. She was a lovely and beautiful lady that always carried herself with grace. I really enjoyed getting to know her and we typically discussed her grandkids and our favorite restaurants. I am so sad to hear that she has passed. Love and prayers to her family!

Ann and I were neighbors for a short time. We got to know each other during the pandemic pretty well. We walked our dogs together and played tennis. She was always so kind but mostly I loved her humor. I'm sad to hear about her passing and wish I had kept in better touch with her.

Ann was a very close friend of my family when I was growing up. She hosted my baby shower for my first born and was like family. She will be missed dearly.
