Anna Maria Adams Aldredge went to meet her Savior on Tuesday evening . Anna was born in Raleigh, N.C. on March 11, 1947 to the late James David Adams and Hazel Tilley Adams. Anna, or "MooMoo" as she was lovingly know to her grandchildren, grew up in Fuquay-Varina, NC and graduated from Peace College. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, Anna is survived by her husband, Emmett Carlyle Aldredge, Jr of Garner, N.C.; her daughter, Amy James Holland and husband, Charles Sidney Holland, III of Raleigh, N.C.; her son, Roger Baxter Huntley of Greensboro, N.C.; her stepson, Emmett Carlyle, III and wife, Dayna of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.and her stepson, Christopher Patrick Aldredge and wife, Donna of Buies Creek, N.C; her sister, Tilley Adams Bailey and husband, Reece of Raleigh, N.C. and her sister, Barbara Adams Hecht and husband Eric of Raleigh, N.C.; her brother, James David Adams, Jr. and wife, Kathy of Raleigh, N.C.; her grandchildren, Veda Maria Holland, Audrey Anna Holland; her step grandchildren, Daniel Emmett Aldredge, Emma Day Aldredge, Katherine Renee Aldredge, Lillian Parker Aldredge, William Beecher Aldredge, Charlotte Ruth Aldredge. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, April 13, 2012 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 2911 South Wilmington Street in Raleigh. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, W. Bryn Mawr Avenue, Suite 550, Chicago, Illinois 60631. Arrangements are by Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, N.C. Condolences may be made at www.montlawn.com
