Anna Jagodzinski Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from May 10 to May 11, 2011.
JAGODZINSKI, Anna My mother, Anna Jagodzinski's spirit left her body on May 6, 2011. Mom was 87 years old; she would have celebrated her birthday on September 6. She is survived by her son, Jan (Brigitte) and grandson, Jeremy. Mom had cousins in Poland and Russia and was dearly embraced by the Kantypowicz and Krzysik families in Edmonton. Mom longed to join her husband of 60 years, Michael, who passed away in June of 2006. Mom had an iron will and was a survivor of many hardships in her life. She worked hard throughout her life and loved her garden. She had laughter in her heart and praise in her soul for the blessings that came to her, accepting her fate as it came. We miss you mom. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2011, at Our Lady Queen of Poland Catholic Church, 9906 - 83 Avenue, Edmonton. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Caritas Hospitals Foundation, 3C60 - 11111 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5K 0L4.
