Anna RIZZUTO Obituary
November 28, 1949 - October 7, 2011
( in Nelson, BC)
After completing grade 11 in her home town of Trail, BC, Anna attended St. Joseph's High School. She received a Bachelor of Education (Cum Laude) from the University of Alberta. She learned her culinary/domestic skills while living with her sister Rosa (Joe) Bossio. Her family affectionately called her "Martha Stewart".
Anna will always be in the hearts of her loving husband of 39 yrs, Dr. Santo Rizzuto; son Chris (Jennifer) two daughters: Dr. Jennifer (Mark) Tinholt, Karla (Wylee Charbonneau); grandchildren Isabella, Xavier and Arand; sisters Rosa (Joe) Bossio (Edmonton); Antonia (Enzo) Driutti; two brothers Joe (Ruth), (Trail, BC) and Giacomo (Linda) Guercio, (Edmonton); brother-in-laws: Frank (Frances); Joe (Anne); Mario (Flora) Rizzuto (Edmonton). Numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., Santa Maria Goretti Church, 9110 - 110 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.

I just saw Anna's obituary in the University of Alberta alumni magazine. I taught with Anna at Archbishop Jordan. I remember her radiant smile and happy disposition. My prayers are with her husband, kids and family.
