BREMONT, Anne (nee Bekevich)
It is with great sadness the family announces Anne's passing on July 30, 2014 at the age of 84. She leaves to mourn one son, Richard Bremont and one daughter Debralee Edwards as well as three grandchildren; Travis Bremont, Kelsey Bremont and Chad Edwards (Erin Kinsella).
Anne was born in Musidora on November 29, 1929 to Steve and Mary Bekevich. Anne went on to live in Falher where she farmed with her husband Rene Bremont and raised two children. They moved to Peace River in 1967. Anne worked for many years at the Peace River Correction Centre. She was predeceased by her husband Rene Bremont in February 1975 and five brothers and two sisters. Anne moved to Edmonton in 1976. She worked at the Edmonton Remand Centre for a number of years until her retirement in 1991. Anne made many friends in correction services, was well liked and respected by her colleagues. She will be missed by all.
In accordance with Anne's wishes no funeral service will occur. Cremation will take place and Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to your charity of choice.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of the Emergency Department and unit 6W at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their caring support during her last days.
