Anne Parritt Obituary
November 25, 1947-March 20th, 2025
Anne Pauline Parritt passed away peacefully surrounded by family and love. Born on November 25, 1947, to Irvin and Marjorie (White) Parritt, Anne lived a life rooted in hard work, laughter, and deep devotion to her family.
She was a proud sister to Irvin "Bub" Parritt, and a beloved mother to Ginger and husband Shawn, Jill, Mark and girlfriend Brittany, and Felishia. She was a treasured "Gram" to Jessica, Kristine, Kyle, Alyssa, Mya and Dean. She was also an adoring "Gigi" to Jesdon, Tanner, Alec, Forrest, Lincoln, Octavia, and Finley.
Anne spent many years digging clams and crafting wreaths, a true Downeast Mainer through and through. She worked for 24 years at Worcester Wreath, a job she loved and took great pride in. She had a love for Elvis Presley, making peanut butter balls, molasses cookies and other family recipes for Christmas and special occasions. She was known for her strength, kindness, no-nonsense spirit, quirky humor and a spicy vocabulary.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 31, 2025, at the Ella Lewis Grammar School Gymnasium from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, with a committal to follow at Steuben Village Cemetery.
