I am so very sorry to learn of the loss of Anne. I met her once as my son has been a classmate of Elise through all of grade school and high school. I looked at all of the 59 photos and see the first step of Anne's path and the last in our world. My brother died at 28 when I was 24. I felt devastation. However, my brother filled us with a lifetime of humor, love and so much laughter during his short walk. I also know that he strongly walked in faith and is with Jesus. I am sure Anne's energy is also with Jesus. Blessings and hope to your family <3

Dear Dr. and Mrs. Rawlinson & family.
Anne was a Rhodes Intern for a semester at our Law Firm.I was sad to hear of her death, especially at such a young age.I was a history and language major at Tulane and at University of Memphis, and so, Anne and I had a lot in common. My partner, Bob Donohue, our secretary, Joyce, and I were very fond of Anne. She was a wonderful intern at our Law Firm. My wife and I both taught Spanish at Rhodes College briefly, and we have much admiration for the young people like Anne who graduate from Rhodes. We have been in the Rhodes Intern program for many years, and we have never had a bad Intern from Rhodes. Anne was one of the best, and would have been an excellent attorney. I am the Consul of Guatemala and Anne also helped some with the Hispanics from Guatemala who often called the office. I notice that you mention St. Jude in the obituary. My wife is from Nicaragua and has been a vouunteer at St. Jude for many years. She now teaches Spanish to the students in treatment at St. Jude. It is a wondeful hospital. I didn't learn about the several services for Anne until too late. I surely would have attended had I known in time.

Amy, I was so saddened to hear of your daughter's death. The photos you shared here were so happy and precious...I'm so grateful that you had her for these wonderful times on earth. Often, I think, as I walk on by myself, that Wayne is just an arms length away, but in another realm...still living and still enjoying whatever life is like there. Anne will be truly missed, especially by my daughter Melanie. Anne, Rochelle and Melanie had so many wonderful times together. They spent times at yoga, eating meals together, and just hanging out like young people do. She gave my daughter so many words of encouragement when she really needed it. They all loved each other so much. My heart truly hurts for your family. I have cried thinking of how my daughter has lost a true and devoted friend. She will allways remain in our hearts. It wlill be hard to imagine my daughter's life without her, but we must remain strong. Anne was truly special to us.
