May God Bless and keep you in my mind, don't let my mind forget as we do whenever we get older I want to remember a true friend. Anthony was kind, funny, and true to his friends. I know I will always miss him being able to give him a hug and hanging out and laughing together. Rest in peace my friend, until the day I join you in heaven and our souls recognize each other in our heavenly home. Save a spot for me up there my friend, I love and miss you Anthony. Joann and family: Holidays are a hard time for those that have lost loved ones. You are in my prayers and my heart goes out to you. I wanted you to know Celie had many friends all over Texas who loved him very much. Back in Oct. 2016 a large group of us in Houston held a memorial service in his honor at one of his favorite hang outs, The Houston Eagle. We all told stories of how we met him and the impact he had on our lives. We all miss him and know he is now in God's Kingdom and he is happy and smiling.

RIP Miss Celie, you always knew how to make us feel welcomed and special. From the very moment we met you, you made us feel like we knew you and made us feel comfortable to be around you. No matter was drama was unfolding around the boyz, you always seemed to be the one to keep sanity in chaos and voice of reason.

I am so very broken hearted with your passing my precious friend Anthony. So many afternoons and evenings spent together after days at SGP. I don't really know how to express my deep sorrow over this. I wish there was some way to rewind time to be able to speak to you again....the world will never be the same without your smile and spunk. Cheerleading will never be the same for sure. I met Anthony in the 90's when he started showing up with mutual friends at parties and/or clubs where I was DJing. I soon found out why he was everyone's friend. Anthony (Miss Celie) was one of the nicest and most genuine guys I've ever met. Loyal, a real friend who never missed a chance to come say hello and put a smile on my face and always make me laugh. He was the life of the party at times but other times he was the voice of reason. A heart of gold. We will miss Anthony... but we will never, ever forget him.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Anthony aka Cellie while I was member of Dallas Pride Cheer 2012 to present. He was an awesome cheerleader, awesome hype leader during the parades and a smile that was contagious! I am deeply saddened by his passing and send my condolences to his family at this time. I've had the pleasure of calling Anthony a friend since 9th grade at SGP! He was such a happy person. Always smiling, always laughing. Even though we lost touch, we would keep up through FB. I'm so very sorry for your loss but I know Heaven has gained such a sweet soul!
