Anthony Izzo Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 10 to Feb. 11, 2023.
Anthony Frank Izzo sarasota - Anthony Frank Izzo Sr. of Sarasota, born in NJ, sadly lost his battle with cancer on February 6, 2023, at the age of 61. He passed away in his home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Stacey A. Izzo, of 30 years, his three beautiful children Angelina, Adrianna and Anthony Jr. who he so adored, and his dogs Bebo and Diesel. He also left behind his brother Bruno C. Izzo Jr., sister Rosanne Holton (Ricky Holton) and his amazing niece and many nephews. His in-laws Kimberly A Key (Martin Key), Kenneth R Sedita, Michael R Sedita Jr., Keith J Sedita (Jill Faline Sedita) and mother-in law Adelaide Zintel (Kirk Zintel) and father-in-law Michael R Sedita Sr. (JoJo) who loved him like their own son.

Anthony was the owner and operator of a very successful granite and marble company which he and his wife started over twenty years ago. Besides always working with such incredible people, and best friend, Italo Jaime Camacho, he had so much love for family and friends. He could not get enough of his children's friends as they all called him Big T, nicknamed by his future son-in law, Kobe Costello. He had a great passion for cars and enjoyed bringing his cars to car shows with his family.

To honor Anthony's memory, we want to invite everyone, especially car enthusiast, to join us on Sunday February 26th from 2-5pm at S.M.A.R.T., 4640 CR 675 E, Bradenton, 34211, (next to Hunsader Farms) to pray and reflect on his incredible life. We will conclude our service with a car rally.

My husband used Angelina since it first opened. He loved his visits to the shop, visiting Tony and the team who worked there. He knew him from Avon so they had a long history together. Mark still would stop in even after his retirement to catch up and of course harrass everyone! We have prayed for the family ever since we heard of the cancer! Mark will miss him! You have been through a long battle together, cancer touches everyone and we will continue to pray that Jesus guides you as you learn to walk in this life without Tony by your sides!

We were so saddened to learn of Tony's passing, Michael Sedita Sr.'s only son in law. Michael and I thought the world of Tony. He loved life, and he loved making it fun. He loved keeping his family in beautiful cars, playing with his drone

, and running his fabulous granite and marble company. He was successful and a real go-getter! Tony, may you rest in peace. Jojo

Stacey and entire family. Our hearts are crying for the loss of our dear friend Tony. Tony Stacey Tom and I traveled a lot either with them to Las Vegas and Arizona. It was almost every Sat night the four of us were together what fun. I remember so much especially the day Stacey called me to share the news she was pregnant. Tom and Tony met at Avon. I would cover my face when he was driving through Vegas as a joke because he was fast but a very good driver. Stacey would say Boop my nickname "If he drives slow the worry". In 50 years of marriage my husband hasn´t she many tears, but he broke the news to me in a text. He came home and we cried for the loss of a great man, dear friend and Stacey for you the children and entire family.

It's been a long time since I saw Anthony, but I remember when he and Stacey started Angelina Granite & Marble. He was a good friend who I remember fondly. Tony always went out of his way to help me and do what he could for my business. He had a huge heart.

My prayers for his family. He will be missed.
