ANTHONY ALBERT PAUL

Anthony Albert Paul was born on May 2, 1939 and died on December 21, 2024 in Port of Spain in Trinidad & Tobago. He was born in Petit Valley, Diego Martin in Trinidad and lived there until the age of 19 before leaving Trinidad for America.

He arrived in Brooklyn New York in the late 1950s to live with his uncle, Murrel Emroy "Roy" Paul. Roy was also the godfather to his son Michael and was a pivotal mentor to him when first arriving in America.

Anthony A. Paul had 9 siblings: Anastine, Finn, Gertrude, Sylvia, Rose, Thelma, Nora, Monica and George.

He is the son of Henry Aldolphus Paul and Mary Pajotte Paul. He is also the grandson of William Paul and Euphrasine Paul.

He was formerly married to his ex-wife Jessie for 27 years. They have 3 children: Anthony, Michael and Sharon. He also has 5 grandchildren: David, Jasmine, Olivia, Jared and William.

Anthony worked for 33 years as a banker at Citibank in various positions over his long career and eventually rose to work as an executive in the cash management division at Citi before he retired in the early 1980s.

He first retired to upstate New York in Canaan New York, where he bought the former R&S Stock Farm, the 300 acre farm was once the largest beef farm in New York State previous to his ownership.

He later moved back to Trinidad & Tobago, more than 20 years ago, where he lived out the rest of his life in his native country. He died a dual citizen of The United States of America and Trinidad & Tobago, British West Indies.

His many hobbies included barbecuing, hunting, fishing, gardening, travel/exploring and music.
