Anthony "Tony" Bohen Obituary
Tony was born August 16, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Helen (Kosman) Bohen and Joseph Alexander Bohen.
Tony graduated from Father Judge High School and went on to earn an undergraduate degree from the Culinary Institute of America. He was very proud of being a Chef.
Tony joined the US Navy in 1980 serving on the naval destroyer USS Yellowstone until honorably discharged in 1987.
Tony worked as head chef for the Austrian Village in Rockledge, PA from 2006 until 2025.
Cooking was his passion as well as The Beatles and collecting baseball caps.
Tony is survived by his children Tracy Bohen, Christen Bohen, Alex Bohen, Nicholas Bohen, Matthew Bohen and step daughter Katrina Williams, grandchildren Brian, Bradley, Landon, Raina, Phoenyx, David and Xavior, sister Rose Lynch, nieces Melissa Gale, Venessa Miller and Lori Sullivan, nephews Bill Grant and John Sullivan. He was predeceased by his sister Betty.
While not immediate family, Tony was very much integrated into the Burits family, Gottlieb, Lotte, Linda and Monica who founded and operated the Austrian Village since 1972.

I met Tony when he attended The Culinary Institute of America. He was so proud of being a Chef, his father was a Chef and he followed in his footsteps.
I'll always be grateful for having a very good friend in Tony. I'll miss you Tony.
I hope you run into John Lennon and George Harrison while your up there.

Tony was a great guy. He would kid me often because I would a chicken steak, cheese on one side because my husband doesn't eat cheese. He always made it for me. God Bess Tony and my deepest condolences to your family. Hank and Patty.
