Anthony Frank Washofsky

Anthony Washofsky passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the age of eighty-six. He leaves behind his wife Doris, with whom he was married for sixty-four years, his son Richard Washofsky, M.D. of Beijing, China, his daughter Janice Bonner, her husband, Kevin, and 2 grandchildren, Griffin and Scarlett, of Baltimore, Maryland.

He was a first-team All-American soccer player while at Drexel University, where he earned his Mechanical Engineering degree in 1958. Anthony was named to the Drexel University Hall of Fame and had won the Lt. Thomas Patrick Green Memorial Award in 1958.

He was a long-time member of the Vereinigung Erzgebirge Club in Warminster where he enjoyed playing and coaching soccer. Anthony also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at 11 AM on Monday, March 26, 2018 at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954. His entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.
