Antoinette R. Martinez, 81, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on January 7, 1933 to Joseph F. and Antoinette Anna Urban Posatko.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vicente Martinez, on June 6, 2012.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was a retired Registered Ob/Gyn Nurse. She served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1961. While stationed in England, she met her husband, fell in love, married and began their life together. They travelled the world and touched many lives. She was a loving and giving mother. She will be eternally missed by her family.

She is survived by her children, Maria Massey and husband Earl, David Martinez and wife Minerva, Lisa Kelley and husband Scott; grandchildren, Adam Revet, Shane Revet, Amber Massey, Felicia Martinez, Andres Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Meghan Kelley, Ann Kelley and Elisa Kelley; great grandchildren, Jade Revet, Alexander Revet, Alonna Crossnoe, Maya Martini, Derrick Reyes, Ian Reyes and Destiny Davis.

The visitation will be on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. followed by the Rosary service at 7:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate. The interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Maria, David and Lisa --- we were saddened to hear of Toni passing. We have such fond memories of living next door in Panama and watching you and our kids growing up, and our trip to Florida and Disneyland. Vince and Toni were very special and we will miss them Pancho and Joan Villa
