Antoinette T. Tenczar

Antoinette T. (Jajuga) Tenczar, 99, of Ruggles St., passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 in Hampden, MA. Born in Three Rivers, January 24, 1915, she was the daughter of John and Julia (Kaminska) Jajuga. A lifelong resident, she was a communicant of Divine Mercy Church and a member of the Rosary Sodality and the SS. Peter and Paul Mothers Club. She was also a member of the Polish Women's Club. Antoinette worked for many years at WT Grant in Palmer and later at the family market, Tenczar's Superette in Three Rivers The most important aspect of her life was her love of family. She enjoyed baking, cooking and sewing. Besides her parents and seven siblings, she was predeceased by her husband Wilfred J. Tenczar in 1987. She will be deeply missed by her three children: Frederick Tenczar and wife Betty of Belchertown, Virginia Masnicki and husband Ronald of Palmer, Alyce McConchie and husband Robert of North Attleboro. She will also be missed by eight grandchildren: Mary Majka, John, David, and Michelle Tenczar, Todd Masnicki, Tanya Presz, Valerie Masnicki and Brian McConchie along with six great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister Frances Skok of Hampden. The family would like to thank the staff at Wingate of Hampden for their attentive care. A calling hour will be Friday, October 10 from 8:15 9:15 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Divine Mercy Church in Three Rivers. Burial will follow in St. Anns Cemetery, Three Rivers.
